Fire Tower

The centerpiece of the town of Housatonic, MA is a water tower that stands like a beacon, drawing artists and healers to the community (my interpretation). In this first hand-painted photograph of the series, I made visible the energy currents I feel coming from the tower. In the setting sunlight, the tower, the building and the grasses seemed to be on fire, so I named it “Fire Tower.”
